METAL Q-PAC® OFFERS 20-25% BETTER GAS-LIQUID CONTACTING EFFICIENCY THAN IMTP-40, WITH LOWER PRESSURE DROP

Random packings such as modified saddles or rings with perforations and tabs force tower designers to sacrifice either mass-transfer efficiency or pressure drop. Until now, structured packings, with their controlled arrangement of surface area, drip points, and gas/liquid flow paths have provided the best packing tower performance. However, structured packings are expensive, difficult to install & maintain, and unsuitable for use at higher liquid loadings.

Lantec Products’ Metal Q-PAC® provides the best of both worlds: the efficiency and capacity of structured packings, with the economy and versatility of random packings. Metal Q-PAC® provides maximum contacting efficiency and moderate pressure drop.
